Family Rehab & Medical Massage

Family Rehab & Medical Massage was designed to aid in the rehabilitation and relief of damaged or diseased muscles. As a health professional, your health is treated very seriously and I am dedicated to helping you along your path to wellness. We are also prepared to work with clients with special needs and disabilities (autism, muscular distrophy, migraines, multiple sclerosis, etc.).

Mike O'Quin (standing) is a highly trained Medical Massage Practitioner and Licensed Massage Therapist.

My hometown is Sulphur, Louisiana, where I graduated from Sulphur High School in 1970.

I enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1971 and spent 2 tours of duty in Southeast Asia. While there, I started learning the trade of muscle work under a Buddhist monk. I was Honorably Discharged in 1975, and spent eight more years in the Air Force Reserves while working with South Central Bell in Louisiana.

After enduring two layoffs with SCB, I went to work in retail management for eight years. I decided to pursue a career in massage therapy, and in 2003 graduated from Alvin Community College as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Since then, I have and continue to take courses under some of the most honored name therapists in the massage industry. I am certified as a Medical Massage Practitioner, an Active Isolated Stretching Specialist, an Aromatherapist, and other classes that I use to aid in the recovery and comfort of my clients.

I have been married to my beautiful wife, Cheryl, for 34 years. We have 3 children, and 3 grandchildren.

I recently moved to my new League City, Texas location and look forward in aiding in the quality of life of those who come in to see me.
